Join us for a Friends of the Library meeting. Become a member and help us promote the LaRue County Public Library. Membership enables you to join your local branch chapter and become involved with many wonderful library activities throughout the year. Benefits include invitations to special Friends’ events, Volunteer opportunities, and advocacy opportunities. Hope to see you there!

During the month of May, LaRue County Public Library will be taking donations for Springhaven Domestic Violence Center. Personal hygiene products, cleaning supplies, gift cards, children's essentials, and all other donations are accepted here at the library. For larger items, such as furniture, please call the library to make arrangements for pick up.
We are hosting a Plant Swap on Wednesday, May 1st from 11:00am-4:00pm! Healthy plants only! Pest-free plants please! Outdoor and indoor plants accepted! No invasive species, please--Kentucky-native plants only! Label your plant. Bring in a container you no longer want. Bring a plant, take a plant (bring one, take one).
