The bookmobile expands the reach of the LaRue County Library by transporting books to children and adults who might not otherwise be able to take advantage of our collection and services.

If you miss your scheduled appointment 2 times in a row, we reserve the right to cancel bookmobile service. If the Library is closed due to inclement weather, holiday or sickness your service will resume the next scheduled day.
Our Mission
The mission of the LaRue County Public Library is to provide materials and services for personal enrichment, enjoyment and educational needs to all county residents of all ages. This is to be done during convenient hours and in pleasant surroundings. We believe that an informed community is a strong community and the library values the opportunity to do our part.
